Our 10 point plan for making Wyld Thyngz more sustainable

1. We encourage children to use water sparingly and only when needed.
2. We use fallen timber from the wood to cook on and keep the children warm in winter.
3. Our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and not tested on animals.
4. Our tea and coffee is Fairtrade.
5. We encourage sustainability by using oat and soya milks instead of cow.
6. To reduce our carbon footprint, our cooking is predominantly plant-based.
7. Our travel policy encourages car sharing, using public transport and bicycles.
8. We follow the waste hierarchy of refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle, recover.
9. We have a programme of planting new trees and enhancing the biodiversity of the woodland flora.
10. We are experimenting with growing food crops in straw bales.
